The Rising Sun was situated on Ermin Street. This pub was closed by landlords Dave and Chrissy Payne on 31st October 2017. The couple took over the pub from West Berkshire Brewery in 2015, after the Yattendon-based brewers described the premises as a "loss-making venue".
