The Red Lion was situated at Church End. This pub closed in 2012.

The pub was an18thC coaching inn. Approval was given for the property to be turned into a residential property and was put up for sale in May 2025. This was against the wishes of the local Parish Council and Village Society, which wanted to turn it into a community hub.
