The Foresters was situated at 75 Burleigh Street. This pub closed in 1986 and has now been redeveloped as a Co-op bank. Publican in 1916 was WIlliam Fuller.

Mike Nathan	1980	My parents were the landlords of this pub at around the same time the photo was taken. This is just before the kite redevelopment and the church hall opposite was still functional - my parents received constant complaints from the congregation about the noise from the Dansette in my bedroom, blasting out Frank Zappa and the like.
