1975 to closure |
My parents were the landlord and landlady, the last ones before the pub
closed down to make way for Queensgate. Me and my new wife had know were
to live and mum let us have the pub flat this was our first home. It was
in not in good condition so as newly weds the customers chipped in and
help to decorate we was all a big family. To date we are 50 years
married we have more stories to tell about this |
