My mum was the youngest landlady Robinsons ever
had. Her and my dad ran the Oak inn when she was 19 years old in the early
1960s. |

I was a member of the Stockport Cavers and
Climbers Club which held its meetings at the pub. Among my friends there
were Joe Tierney and Denis Worth. The other names I've forgotten. I was
then in my mid to late teens and I am now 83. We had a club hut up near
The Wanted Inn above Chapel-en-le-Frith. |
