The Bassett Arms was situated at 51 Fore Street. This early Victorian coaching inn closed c2008 and is now undergoing what appears to be residential conversion.

Jen Hill	1976/1979	Lived and worked here before moving back to Tamworth, so many happy memories wonderful people. Friday night's were amazing with the lads singing. At the same time I was working at Carn Brae leisure centre. I still miss everyone even now.
