The Howard Arms was situated on the
A515. This pub was present by 1828 when it was known as The Chesterfield
Arms. Later known as The Cubley Inn, it was The Howard Arms by the time Roy
Wood, of Wizzard fame bought it in 1997. It closed shortly afterwards and is
now used as a private house. |

I always enjoyed a pint of pedigree here. especially the very generous
half to top up the last pint of the night. |
