Saracens Head

The Saracen’s Head, situated in the middle of a field on the Leicester/Derbyshire border, near Calke Abbey, was a place where Bass drinkers flocked to. The old landlord could fill your pint glass from his jug to the top in two seconds without spilling a drop. He and his wife closed the pub c2000 but remained in it. Now it is a fully privatised house.
