Shute Arms

Shute Arms, Shute

The Shute Arms was built in 1898 opposite Seaton Junction Station, it was partially rebuilt in 1982 after a fire and converted into flats in 2007. This was originally a hotel with a public bar, but in later years it became more of a pub with accommodation.

Sarah Brown 1982-1985 My family owned this pub between 1982-1985, and it was during our time there that the pub burnt down, an awful time for my family, and it was them who rebuilt the pub Danny Brown and Betty Brown.
