The Coach House Inn closed c2000. This pub was previously known as The Kingsbridge Road Hotel and then The Wounded Soldier, after the landlady's husband who was wounded in the Second World War.

I remember visiting the Wounded Soldier in the 1970s with my family. I was about 12. The landlady gave me a ptk sweets as I was playing billiards, she said I had done really well and gave some sweets. Always interested what happened to this lovely. Pub.
