Trevor Wise	1965	I was on holiday with my granddad who came from Stratton, we went there with my family in about 1965 to see his sisters who were buried in the churchyard across the road from the the pub.. the landlords were two mates and there wifes in the war as RAF aircrew flying De Havilland Mosquito fighter bombers as pilot and nav. Said if we come though this after the war we will get a pub in dorset.
