Linda Gibson 1982/1996 My husband Tony and I were landlord and landlady. Tony died in 1993 a really sad time I continued on my own until 1996 it was a fantastic pub always busy great place to be but not the same without him it is now student flats im sure had tony not died so young we would still be there
Sue Dixon 1990/1992 Worked at the DLI with Linda and Tony. Fantastic times. Steve was barman, Karen, Nympha, and others I can’t remember names but can picture their faces. Sunday dinners were the best!! Chucky was the cook.
Customers the salt of the earth. Staff stoppy backs and sandwiches just a perfect end to the evening. Never considered it work as the family was the best. How I miss those days !!!
