The Railway was situated on Shafter Road. This pub closed in 2011 and is currently being converted to a Tesco store.

Pauline Philips	1991-1995	Publican with my ex husband Chris Phillips. I had fantastic staff, including Jackie Hedges, Lisa Meyers, Jackie Noonan and Jo Black.
Steve Tiley	1981-2010	I remember last landlords like Mick and Sylvia with Fave and Carol behind the bar and I remember the barmaids michaela and Lara and Charmaine. Brilliant pub where everybody knew everybody shame it closed down.
