The Woodman was situated on Colchester Road, close to The Plough. This beerhouse was attached to a row of cottages called Woodman's Cottages built as worker's accommodation and was owned by the Hornchurch Brewery. The cottages were demolished in 2008 although the beerhouse had previously closed.
