The Royal Union was situated at 37 Hatherley Street. The skittle alley was converted into a restaurant, but was patially demolished to make way for new build housing. The remaining part of the pub, traded as a micro pub called The Tivoli Tap. However planning permission was granted in 2023, to convert the existing building, into residential dwellings.
