Ben Phillips	1962-1965	I served in the RAMC in Parson's Barracks, a short distance away (now long gone). Whilst I was a customer it was run by Ron and Marion who were excellent hosts. They retired to Buckfastleigh in Devon, near to Buckfast Abbey where the appalling "fortified wine" is made. They had a pub there which I visited. Now an amazing coincidence. I now live in rural Scotland and my new neighbour owns a flat in the redeveloped Cannon!
