The
Plume Of Feathers was situated on St Marys Street. This pub was built in
similar architectural style as other pubs in Southampton such as The Eagle
and The Red Lion. This pub was popular with market users and football fans
before going to the stadium. It closed c2011 and is now used as
the Southampton Buddhist Centre - the hanging sign has been retained, but
altered to show Buddha in the centre of the Plume of Feathers. |
