The Old Thatched House was situated on Romsey Road.
Known colloquially as The Old Thatch, this pub is reportedly being converted to an alternative use. The building itself must be retained, as it is indeed an old thatched house and therefore a listed building. This large pub had two bars - a smaller sports bar and a main bar, which was very large and known for its food and live entertainment.
