The Camp was situated at 149 Camp Road. This pub closed in 2015.

The pub was subsequently sold by brewery McMullen & Son to developer Howarth Homes, demolished and flats built on the site.

David Angove 1966/1967 As a teenager, I approached the Landlord (Trevor, I think) for work as a barman). I thoroughly enjoyed the work , with nearly all the customers either locals, or employees of the nearby rubber works. On my Birthday, I stood Trevor & the rest of the staff a celebratory round of drinks.....
