The Ridgway Arms was situated at 176 Chorley Road.

This pub was built c1825 by the local Ridgway family whose coat of arms is displayed on the pub sign. An application is presently displayed for conversion by Tesco Stores Ltd to sell alcohol Monday to Sunday.
