Bell Hotel

The Bell Hotel was situated at 320 Manchester
Road East, adjacent to Little Hulton Railway Station. It was turned into 2
or 3 terraced houses, and I was born in one of them in December 1933. The
houses belonged to the Railway, and my dad was a signal man working out of
LH Station. Two of my brothers were born in the house too, one in 1930 and
one in 1936. We lived there until after the beginning of the War, and moved
to Peel Lane around 1940. |
