The Crown was situated at 89 Renshaw Street (later Epping Walk, now Epping Street).  This was a large old Tetley tied house that survived the original redevelopment of Hulme during the late 1960s. This is yet another pub to be pulled down during the redevelopment of this area in the late 1990s.
