Tony Gardner	1966/1972	I had my first pint here when I was aged about 13 (I was a big lad for my age!) My mate Derek was two years older and this was the only place we had a certainty of getting served. As I remember we were the only people under about 70 years of age drinking in the bar. A pint of Thwaites bitter if I remember right!
Nicola Dickens	late 1970s/early 1980s	I lived in this pub when Dave Campbell (my dad) was the licensee). I have some wonderful memories of here.
