My Gt.Grandfather W Ganney was the
publican c1900, his daughter Sarah Jane was my grandfather's wife. On
demolition, Leicester's Roman Forum was found under the site,& can still be
seen today, also, glazed bricks from the pub cellar may/once could also be
found. |
