6 Cross Street was identified as a Building
of Townscape Merit during a conservation area appraisal, 2004-05.
The Lock Stock and Barrel public house is a rendered building with pantiled
roof, set end on to the street.
The Lock Stock and Barrel was formerly known as the Fishmonger's Arms. The
premises on Cross Street also incorporate the town assembly rooms. [3]
The Lock Stock and Barrel public house was demolished in 2020. |
