The Black Horse was situated on Village
Street. |
|
|
The pub was leased by my grandparents Charles,
William Clark and Ethel Clark from 1939 until 1959 from Soames brewery based
in Spalding. My father John Peter Clark who is still living (98) spent his
boyhood.
We lived in the house next to the pub and I remember the pub being derelict
during my childhood through the sixties and seventies until it was
eventually sold off and demolished. |
