The Park Tavern Hotel was situated at 81 Portway. This pub closed c2016 and was converted to use as an Eastern European restaurant, which has, in turn, also closed. It was also known as The Toby Tavern.

Name Dates Comments James F 1994/2000 Used to be run by two brothers, if memory serves - great publicans who didn't stand for any nonsense. When I drank in there, the pub was pretty rundown, but it had a great atmosphere and was friendly, unlike some of the other establishments in the area. Karaoke on a Saturday ran into the small hours, which made it a popular place for a late (very late) drink.
