The Manchester Arms was situated at 155 Hackney Road. This little pub was present by 1872 and was renamed the Little Wonder in 1991.  It closed in 1994 and was converted to retail use.  In the 1980s, it had been a rare (for the area) free house, selling beers from Everards Brewery in Leicestershire.
