The Cock Tavern was situated on East Poultry Avenue. This was a basement pub in Smithfield Market and had a licence to open at 6am for the benefit of the market staff. It served breakfasts and lunches using meat from the market. Closed in early 2013, it was converted to use as a cocktail bar called Oriole in 2015.
