The Prince Of Wales was situated at 1-3 Allen Road. The pub was demolished after a fire in 2003 in which a little boy died. The flats replaced the pub.

It was actually an arson attack which killed three people, two little boys age 5 and 10 and a customer of the pub. I know this as I was also in the blaze. It was my grandfathers pub that he owned for many years.
