The Golden Lion was situated at
57 Carnegie Street. This pub was demolished
by at least c.1960s when the Barnsbury Estate was built. |

This pub was probably badly damaged
by bombing in World War 2. The Chapel on the opposite corner
was totally destroyed. The Barnsbury Estate was built piecemeal starting in
the 1950s. I would guess this pub would've gone by the early 1950s. |
