The Jubilee Arms was situated at
352 Upper Street. This pub closed in
the early 20th century and is now in commercial use at
ground level. |

My Gran was the cleaner there in the 1920-30s.
The landlord, who was a friend of the family, was Mr Sutcliffe. My mum used
to go and play with his kids clockwork train set while her mum cleaned
downstairs. The trains puffed real smoke. |
