The Jolly Gardeners was situated at 69 Cobourg Street. This pub closed on
28th January 2018 and will be demolished as part of the HS2 project. Known
as The Bree Louise at time of closure, the name of the landlord's daughter
who died shortly after birth. It was renowned for the huge number of cask
ales on offer, typically 17 at any one time. |
