Midland Hotel

The Midland Hotel was situated at 29 Station Road. This pub was also known as The Pickled Newt. It was originally built in 1889–90 to serve the nearby Midland Railway station, and has since been listed as an Asset of Community Value (ACV), which has helped stall demolition plans.
