The Fort was situated at 131 Grange Road. This pub was also known as The Royal Fort. It closed in 2011 and was demolished in 2015.
Site now being redeveloped for housing.

Name Dates Comments Mike 1997/2006 Never visited such a seedy place and it sure was an entry to the underworld. Quite extraordinary and weird though. Lived in London from 1996 till 2006 and it sure was a period of massive change. Today it is sadly a soulless place with cooperative buildings and bleak surroundings. That's the way it goes I suppose...
