The Fox & Hounds was situated at 108 Great Guildford Street.
I moved to Redcross Way in 1966 and this pub was used then as a general grocers shop, the man who owned it was middle aged man but I don't think it had a very good trade because a boy in my classes parents were going to buy it and spent two weeks working in there to see what the trade was like eventually they thought better of buying it, there was a shop similar opposite who took most of the trade, eventually it closed down and then reopened as an office.
