The Marlborough Arms was situated at 43 Elystan Street. After closure in 2003 it was extended, given an Anouska Hempel-designed interior, and reopened as a restaurant.

Susan Davies (nee Slennett) 1956/1962 My Father was the publican (Ben Slennett) for many years, but I was a child at that time & we needed to vacate when my Father passed away. In that era, a woman could not run a Public House on her own.
