Oldfield Tavern

The Oldfield Tavern was situated on Greenford Road. The Who played their first ever gig here. The pub has now been demolished and replaced by flats.

I lived in greenford until 1990. My dad was a barman there in the 70s and it was his local. He wore red shirt and black bow tie as a uniform. Pans people performed there and I remember my dad bringing me to their dressing room to meet them. It was thrilling!
