The Dukes Head was situated at 93 Colne Road.
This pub was present by 1746 and closed in 2008 – it
is now in private residential use. At one time it was tied to the ‘Brandon’s
Putney Brewery’ as can still be
seen from surviving brewery
signage above
the corner door. It has also been known as Uncle Toms Cabin. |
