The Lord
Nelson was situated
on Walsingham Road.
Grade II
listed, this pub was originally known as The Plough and open from the 1650s.
It was reputedly the last place Nelson drank before the Battle of Trafalgar
and still had the original fittings. Previously closed from 2016-2021, the
leaseholders, Woodforde's Brewery, closed the pub in September 2026 and are
now looking for new operators. |
