The Town Arms was situated on Plumptre Square. This pub closed in the 1980s following a fire. It has now been demolished with new flats built on the site.

Used to drink in the Town Arms every Saturday Lunchtime on my way to the city centre from West Bridgford. The Pub had a fire in May/June 1985 which wrecked in internal structure and never opened again.
