The Bishop Blaize was situated on The Green.

The pub closed in 2007, after several failed attempts to get residential permission, changed tack. It got ACV status in 2016 was refurbished and reopened as the "Pheasant Pluckers Inn" July 2016, later renamed as the "Blaze Inn Saddles". Operating as a bikers pub July 2023, it had a very long running issue with the locals and closed again. Last record 2024 where it was seeking to go holiday rental, planning for a holiday cottage in the car park approved in October 2024.
