Antony Souch 1965/1970 My parents, Albert and Dorothy Souch were the tenants of this pub in the mid to late 1960s. I’ve been back a few times as I always thought of Combe as my true home and The Cock Inn was the heart of the community. Sadly it seems to have gone. The last tenants didn’t seem to care much about it and opened when they felt like it. Not the way to run a business I’m afraid. To run a pub like the Cock you need to be committed 200% for it to work..
