It appeared there were already two
public-houses, the Bull at Fencott, and Marlake House at Murcott, and the
Bench, therefore, declined to
grant any other license for the neighbourhood
Oxford Chronicle, 21.9.1867: On Friday, W. Brunner, Esq., held an
inquest at the Bull Inn, Fencott, on the body of Eliza Palmer, daughter of
glazier in that village
