The Who'd Ha Thought It was situated on West Street. This pub
closed in 1954 and has now been converted to a private residence. |

Probably original a beer house it was acquired
at some point by Belcher & Habgoods Brewery. They later brewed in Abingdon
at the Tower Brewery and the now thriving Nags Head on Abingdon Bridge was
one of their houses. Acquired in turn by Morlands in 1928 who held it until
closure. Although it’s not possible to be sure, there is a block of
converted cottages in West Street called Morland House, one of the was
probably the pub. |
