The Horse & Groom was situated at 341 Tamworth Lane. This pub has now been demolished and replaced by a medical centre.

My mum had a part time job behind the bar in the 1970's. I think the proprieters were Jim and Babs and they had a large dog, possibly an alsation called Jet. Nice pub with the usual crowd of regulars. The area has declined since those days.
