The Cabin was situated on St Johns Road. This beerhouse was present in 1911 and closed c1970.

A lovely little village pub with a jug and bottle which I often used for liquorice and lemonade when I was a kid. In the 50s and 60s, during winter evenings, the local bobby would stand in an archway in the houses opposite and enjoy a pint brought out to him from the pub ! Later in the pub history he worked behind the bar.
