The Plough is now in residential use. This pub closed some time after 1948 and was demolished in 1969, being replaced by a residential propery.

From The History Of The River Lud, by John Rickman, pub. 1998
Thirty years or so ago I used to call occasionally for a beer at the quiet and except locally, little known pub, The Plough at Redford, just as workers from the nearby pugmill and brickworks used to do in their day. A pugmill may be described as a mill for grinding and mixing clay for brick making. The last time I was at The Plough the weather was gloomy. I ordered an Indian Pale Ale, paid for it, got my change, drank my beer and continued on my way home. I turned out the loose change in my pocket and found an Indian Anna coin which in the half-light of The Plough bar I had taken for a shilling... I couldn’t help smiling at mine host’s action, accidental as it probably was. I would remonstrate with him about the Anna next time I called for a beer, but when I did I found The Plough shut for ever
