The Carpenters Arms was situated at 1 Adelaide Street. This pub was used as a nightclub following closure, however this has in turn closed.

Known as “The Bag O’Nails" locally, it closed as a pub and opened up as a Shisha Lounge in the “Beer Garden" It has been known by many names, was subject of an arson attack by a disgruntled ex employee and also a cannabis grow. Currently Moon Vapes Shisha and a “Rage Room" upstairs.
