The Dog Inn was situated at 154 Alcester Street. This pub closed in the 1980s.

For many years it was the Lighthouse Mission, helping homeless men with addiction problems. It closed and was sold on and converted into a chip shop. In the late 2010s it was demolished and the site is part of the “Westminster Works" development.
